Katja Hom is the primary point of contact for all owners and tenants regarding day-to-day operations of the Property Management Department at Avery-Hess, Realtors. Her responsibilities include owner financial issues and statements, vendor relations, and business development. She brings a broad spectrum of experience to the department that ranges from International Sales and Marketing to Customer Service Relations.
Prior to joining Avery-Hess, Ms. Hom worked with the German Government, Fairfax County Government and The Washington Post Foreign Desk, where she has been the main liaison to financial accounting and other departments. During her time at The Post she negotiated, selected, managed and untangled leases abroad for overseas assigned correspondents. As an experienced investment property owner herself, she understands the value of a competent management company and the positive effect its people have to owners and tenants alike.
Hailing originally from Berlin, Ms. Hom has lived in the DC area for over 15 years and currently resides in McLean.
